About Dr. Barbara Geater

Internist Barbara Geater, MD, is dedicated to providing residents of Memphis, Tennessee, and the surrounding area with high-quality health care services as part of Honeycomb Medical Group. 

Dr. Geater, a native Memphian, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Memphis College of Health Sciences School of Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree. She went on to complete her internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Tuscaloosa Family Practice Residency Program of the University of Alabama, College of Community Health Sciences in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 

As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Geater practices general medicine with special interests in sports medicine and occupational medicine. She recognizes the importance of staying up-to-date on the latest developments in her field and maintains active memberships with several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine, Bluff City Medical Association, Memphis Medical Association, and Tennessee Medical Association. 

Dr. Geater welcomes new patients to her practice and looks forward to partnering with them in their health care.
